Howdy, horror freaks! My name is Ginger, and I am the result of several cunning fictional operations to create the perfect B-Movie actress. I've starred in a whole library of fictional movies (posters to be displayed in my gallery soon) such as "The Last Undercover Nazi Girl Scout," "Rocket Mission to Uranus," and "Bloodlust Boogaloo." Thus, as you may have guessed, I'm a fictional character. Sorry boys. The only way I'll ever be three-dimensional is if your girlfriend dresses up like me.
Every month I'll be reviewing horror and sci-fi movies, not because I have to, but because I have nothing better to do. Everything from the A-list horror movies like "Saw" to the B-movie world where movies like "Phantasm" and "Evil Dead" reign supreme. And then, I will continue my search for the worst movie ever made. "Vampires vs. Zombies" still holds the title thus far, but we live in a world where "Manos: The Hands of Fate" exists. I know there are worse out there.
I'm your typical 6 foot 1 girl, composed of six different women. Near as I can tell, my head came from a former Sears-Roebuck granny-panty model killed in 1985 during a photoshoot in Escanaba, Michigan. My left leg came from a Russian ballet dancer named Vilma who was killed in a tragic Oktoberfest accident involving heavy lager. My right leg came from a former Playmate, Miss July 1988, who actually had her legs removed and replaced with a better pair. Right arm came from an artist killed in a fiery kiln accident, and the torso came from a nun who used to moonlight as a stripper to make extra money for the convent. My brain was stolen from a lab at UCLA. Dont know much about the donor except that she had a penchant for Nut Goodies, enjoyed re-runs of "The Twilight Zone" and had a fetish for black latex.
I have one yellow and one blue eye with naturally lime-gold complexion that compliments my sunny disposition. This page will be undergoing a lot of construction, so bear with me. AND before you ask the questions I always get asked, let me answer them now: yes, my hair is naturally black, I weigh 250 lbs and my measurements are 36DD-28-34. Yes, I did get into a fight once outside the Viper Club with Elske McCain, and yes she did manage to tear my arm off and beat me with it, but I drop kicked her and the fight ended in a draw. Ginger Stein was created in the year 1980 to be the ultimate scream queen, composed of six different women and a photographic memory. First appearing in low-budget movies distributed by the German based film studio Cormeyer – DiKauffenhiemer in 1985, Ginger Stein made a name for herself through her method acting, unique skin pigment, statuesque physique and large bust. Her first movie was “The Last Undercover Nazi Girl Scout” in which she played a human weapon created by a demented Nazi scientist in World War II Berlin who subsequently switches sides and leads an assassination mission to killed Hitler’s less popular brother, Buddy Hitler. The film was not well received due to poor direction by then washed out director Hugo Boll and a kettle drum score composed by Dutch punk group Hairfuk.
However, her next five films centered around zombies would do much better, with Ginger garnering acclaim for her portrayal of a stripper with a heart of gold in “Please Do Not Feed the Zombies” co-starring Wilson Stickler, her performance in the ensemble movie “Death Spank 2000!” and a turn to the dramatic in the underrated and little seen art film “Gristlehead.” It was during this time that Ginger found fame as a sex symbol due to her complete comfort with appearing nude in most of her movies, whether the script called for it or not. The 1987 film “Clown Bake,” in which alien clowns invade a small New England town to harvest human colons, marked the beginning of Ginger’s trademark use of a chainsaw and the inclusion of her 1978 Hemicuda. The chainsaw and car would be featured in almost every film she appeared in after that.
Behind the scenes, Ginger’s sometimes abrasive personality and inability to censor her commentary on what she thought were “shit” ideas created problems. An argument with director Tobe Hooper led to her bowing out of “Invaders from Mars,” her role ultimately going to Karen Black. She was cast to play opposite William Katt in “House IV” but ultimately walked away from the production due to the fact Richard Moll was not appearing in the movie. A self-professed “card carrying fan” of Reggie Bannister, she lobbied to appear in “Phantasm III” but was ultimately passed over because of what director Don Coscarelli called, “the wrong complexion… definitely post-mortem chic, but not what I’m looking for.” Rumors that she got into a fight with Paris Hilton during a Las Vegas convention in 2006 have never been proven true, though Hilton was seen walking with a limp shortly after.
In recent years, Ginger has semi-retired from acting to review horror and science fiction movies, occasionally taking to time to pose for fictional magazines like PlayZom, Bodacious TaTas and HorrorZone. She has become actively involved in trying to change the public perception that women must be built like “skeletons, weigh 105 pounds and undergo plastic surgery in order to look like the Crypt Keeper with tits.” With her fan base steadily growing, especially after becoming a spokes model for Fear the Dead Radio and a calendar girl for Deep Murder Productions, Ginger is currently enjoying success on MySpace with her reviews and will be launching her own website in August of 2009 as well as a line of merchandise.
