Gini Sigler is an Indie Acoustic Soul Singer/Songwriter from the Ottawa area. Influenced by a blend of indie rock, urban soul, R&B and girl fronted punk her music emits a very unique and eclectic vibe. The entrepreneurial self-driven artist get's herself involved in all genres of the arts. She launched her very own Indie label back in 2008 called “Philosopher Records” which she plans to use to help build her indie experiences, and use her creativity as her "philosophy" about sound. " I dunno, I love every artistic dimension slash avenue, if that makes and sense , lol. I'd love to design my own line, or interview wicked artists. Art is just def a cool place to collectively outlet what we feel, incorporating that into my everyday lifestyle to me is the ultimate bliss."
Her very first dose of the indie rock scene came growing up alongside her pa's full on classic rock band, who created their own glory in their day, playing with some rock legends like Nazerath. She pursued her passions young, majoring in music and modern dance at Canterbury School of Arts. Writing and performing originally in the urban music scene, Gini has tasted a few different genres of the musical stages.
Gini's has been performing in the Ottawa Music Scene for close to 5 years, beginning her earliest days on set every show with the Ottawa' rock gurru's "Circuit". A 6 piece Warner rock & roll band who took Gini in as their crash test dummy. Opening for a number of great artists such as "Dala" and "Anne Vriend", Gini had gotten enough time, to present to her own audience.

Gini's first recording project was a self-produced album called "Gintuitions", which she recorded with Juno award winners Prarie Oyster's Audio Valley Recording Studio engineer, Steve Foley. "Gintuitions" is a 5 track EP, a collection of Gini's first experience, singing, playing and making a record, released in 2006.
Currently Gini is recording her full length album "Tiger Lily Tombstone" which is set to be released June 2009. A collection of intimate, soulful writings that we're written in her "Graveyard" @ her "Tiger Lily Tombstone".
