One who gets to know Gino Federici can only describe the kaleidoscopic events in his life with one constant: born to sing; as Paul Van Zante describes " …with soul that just cuts through all the barriers that other singers just cannot break. That's magic. So few have this God given gift."
Born and raised in Torino, Italy, and a naturalized American, he finds his true calling at 14 after performing in front of a packed theater during an impromptu call from the shows MC seeking new talent for a nightly competition.
This youngster, in shorts, singing Granada with a 15 piece orchestra with a voice honed by years of church singing, brings down the house. That applause would reverberate in his heart forever and seal his fate.
We then find him continuing his studies in London and Paris while sharpening his skills in clubs in Soho and Montmartre. After that, it's on to Rome, Montreal, Vancouver before taking the final plunge into full time show business in Anchorage, Alaska, foregoing a career as an airline pilot, and then establishing himself as a top-draw artist in Seattle where he raises his family.
That success eventually leads to an offer to come to Las Vegas where he accumulates accolades from people from around the world during 23 years of playing in the best venues in town.
Now an author, he is embarking on a new career as a public speaker after having recently completed his first book G.O.Y.A. Get Over Your Anxiety. Just Paint Your Life! ...a candid autobiographical look at challenges, resiliency, faith, and redemption. In it he uses the metaphor of a painter to rally people to find their own voice and the courage to pursue their dreams.
In looking to fulfill a spiritual journey of service to the world, in 2008 he forms Goya Charities, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit dedicated to helping sanitation issues worldwide - from building composting toilets to water wells - and, through education, eradicate illiteracy and disease. After losing two wives to cancer in the span of five years, he now travels the world singing and promoting his charity while sharing his life experiences through compelling stories of unsurmountable obstacles of all kinds that he had to conquer in order to stay true to his heart and his dream.
He speaks Italian, French, Spanish and English and his repertoire reflects an international lifestyle.
The kaleidoscope still keeps turning brand new images and entertaining every viewer who takes the time to explore it.
