Since the debut of their new material & line-up at the Hard Working Class Heroes festival in August 2005, unsigned Irish/Italian band Ginseng have been rocking hard, and bringing their stylish blend of alternative indie rock onto the vibrant Irish music scene.
Following on the back of recent Irish chart success with their single and video She Screams (March 2006) and also with nationwide airplay behind them, Ginseng are working fast and hard to stand out from the pack. With their follow-up EP recorded with American producer Peter Slankster already set for release the lads and lady are gigging nationwide in Ireland with plans to take off overseas anytime soon!
Combining catchy tunes with rock solid live shows, it's no surprise that seeing these guys(and girl) is a must!

Hey there, Here's one from left field... Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat? A while back I came across some very disturbing information, which inspired me to make this video: Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4 Both artistic (ensure you've good enough sound to enjoy the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice. Though the source materials are somewhat aged, the fundamentals remain relevant today. I encourage all to visit the YouTube web page above to learn more (Show your support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly re-post and circulate as widely as possible. Help to raise awareness. Say have you checked out my web site (http://www.faberoptime.com) recently? Take care and keep in touch. Best, Faber. "Just a guy trying to make the world a better place."

Hi !

I’m just sending a little message around as we have a question and we want to ask our friends for input.
We cannot decide whether to release the Album in late May or June. We plan to tour from mid May and the argument is that if we release in June we can tie the release into the fan build from the tour, but it might get squashed with all the Summer and festival releases, however, if we release in May it might have less competition but we won’t have the tour working yet to promote it.
What do you think? I’d love to hear your opinion on this.

DawnyVic
Scarlet/blonde
www.scarletblonde.com
www.twitter.com/scarletblonde
Facebook: http://en-gb.facebook.com/people/Scarlet-Blonde/548590526
Aim/MSN:dawn@scarletblonde.com

In March we march for all sinners, saints and for the one,
who are in trouble !

Take good care and like always: Greetz from Cologne,
bastard state Germany
It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we said did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.
I’d love to know what you’ve been up to since we disappeared into the dark damp studio cave, let us know how it’s going, I’m always up for a chat!

Mark Dignam will be traveling to his native Ireland in February, for what truly will be a couple of those great memorable evenings. These gigs will be worth traveling for, that I can guarantee.
Thursday Feb. 5th, 7pm Vicar Street Dublin, Ireland with The Swell Season and friends. The gig is a benefit for people with intellectual disabilities and is likely to feature some memorable one-off collaborations.
Sunday Feb. 8th, 8pm Whelans, Dublin, Ireland. This is Mark's headline gig and he will be joined by some very special guests. This is Mark's old stomping ground, and might well be a nostalgia fest...
