When Giorgio Costatini began teaching himself to play the piano and synthesizer, and sampling pieces together, he fused his love for technology with his passion for composing, and started down a path that would eventually lead to a crowning success of the release of his first full-length work - PianoPianoForte.
Born in Venice and trained in electronics, Costatini has been a working musician since his early twenties, touring the world with Italian artists the likes of Renato Zero , Fiorella Mannoia, and Michele Zarrillo . For seven years, he was also a member of the RAI Orchestra, and accompanied such artists as Lenny Kravitz , Elvis Costello , and José Carreras. Exposure to such a depth and range of artists have given Costatini a rich palette of experience to apply to his own music, which is evident in PianoPianoForte. Cited as compositions of "orchestral works with moody scores and distinctive sparking percussion", the journey through PianoPianoForte transcends merely listening to music and reaches into a listener's emotions with evocative grace. The 2009 tour for PianoPianoForte had the honor of opening at the National Theater of Taipei, the largest classical theater of Taiwan.
Costatini's work has been gaining international notoriety for its use in European ad campaigns and also Costatini's fervent fan base helping to spread his music via the Internet. In 2008 PianoPianoForte reached the Top Myspace Artist Charts in UK for all genres, and stayed at number one and in the top 10 for over eleven weeks. It climbed to number one on the Italian MySpace charts, and reached number five on the Top MySpace Artist charts in the United States. The single Elegia secured the top download spot for iTunes in Italy in January 2009, and the entire album charted as high as number seven for Italian iTunes downloads at the same time.

Sono nato a Venezia, dove ho trascorso i miei primi vent'anni studiando elettronica, informatica e pianoforte. Ottenuto il diploma, sono partito per Roma e ho cominciato a lavorare come musicista, programmatore e produttore.
A cavallo tra gli anni '80 e'90 ho avuto il piacere e l'onore di suonare in oltre 1200 concerti in tutto il mondo, per artisti come Fiorella Mannoia, - la mia tournèe d'esordio - Renato Zero , Michele Zarrillo , Tosca, Peppino Di Capri e molti altri.
Più recentemente, ho cominciato il lavoro con piccole e grandi formazioni negli studi televisivi Rai (Domenica In, Festival di Sanremo...) e negli anni ho avuto l'opportunità di accompagnare, in varie trasmissioni, artisti come Lenny Kravitz, Michael Bolton, Elvis Costello , Dionne Warwick, Gloria Gaynor , e José Carreras (qui a fianco trovate l'elenco degli artisti con alcuni mp3 delle esecuzioni, e nel mio sito potete leggere il curriculum dettagliato).
Tra il 2004 e 2005 ho suonato nella trasmissione di "Domenica In" e ho prodotto i "Concido" - una rock band che ha partecipato al festival di Sanremo nel 2005 - , dirigendo per l'occasione l'orchestra della Rai.
Tra le attività nell'ambito della musica, ho collaborato per anni con Fonopoli e con la "Michel Hardy University of Psychology", creando musiche per favorire la meditazione e il rilassamento.
Nel mio album "Pianopianoforte" ho raccolto, registrato e missato i miei più intensi brani per pianoforte.
