11/11/1980 Giorgio was born in Correggio (RE). Right now he lives in Fabbrico (RE) 1999: I join the band MR.PIG. I play over 400 live shows in the most renowned Italian clubs (Alcatraz – Milan, Tempo Rock – Gualtieri RE, LiveClub – Milan and Swiss (Arena – Mendrisio) and some of the most important open-air festivals. 2000: I start giving private bass lessons Winter 2002: I play some gigs with the band of Maurizio Solieri (Vasco Rossi’s guitar player), Daniele Tedeschi, Vic Johnson and Michele Luppi. 2002: I start my collaboration with Lizard Music Academy, being the youngest bass teacher in the history of this renowned institute. 2003-2005: I give seminars and clinics on advanced bass techniques, interplay and live sound management, often with the collaboration of Michele “Dr.Viossy” Vioni (MR.PIG’s guitar player and rock guitar teacher for Lizard Music Academy). 2004-2005: I give lessons in Hard Disk Recording and Interplay. 2003: I record the bass track of the opener track of “STRIVE”, first solo album of Michele Luppi (MR.PIG’s and Vision Divine’s singer), published in July 2005 by Scarlet Records distributed in Europe, Japan& South America. Winter 2003: I start, with my band MR.PIG, the collaboration with JamForLive, the biggest and most important cover-bands booking-agency in Italy. Sept 2003 – May 2005: I coordinate the bass department of “Rock Master Project ©” in the state of S.Marino. RMP© was an innovatory programme, including Master Classes and Workshops on advanced bass techniques, studio and live sound management, home recording and interplay. Since July 2005 I’ve been touring with MR.PIG to promote Michele Luppi’s “STRIVE”. November 2005: my first instructional video “Suonare il basso rock” is released by Playgame Music. After 1 month the dvd reaches the 3rd position in the Carisch’s charts. In 2006 the dvd will be distributed in Europe and subtitled in Spanish, English and French. Since November 2005 I’m National Tutor of the National Music School (former Accademia di Musica Moderna). This role gives me exclusive rights to plan the rock/metal courses, the final examinations, the master courses and to train all the other national teachers Oct. 2006 I’ve finished my new bass method: eXtreme Hard Rock Bass for National School Project. Advanced techniques and lessons also for teacher. 2007: I’m writing and producing with Andrea Martongelli, Alessio Garavello (axeman and vocalist from Arthemis and Powerquest) and Alessandro Bissa (Vision Divine drummer) a Hard Rock album. 2007: I’m working on the recording of a DVD for the next release of my new bass method.
