I am a fantasy/faery artist from New England who grew up a product of '80s fantasy films. While attending college I was exposed to the writings of Charles de Lint and the paintings of Brian Froud in his and Alan Lee's book "Faeries," both of which I contribute to opening my eyes to the world of the fey. I continually release new artwork for my ongoing “Faeries of Color"tm series which depicts a racially diverse world of the fey.
My artwork is now licensed with some amazing companies on their wonderful products. You can find my images on candles, bath and body products, stickers, magnets and much more.
I am married to a wonderfully supportive man and have two amazing little pixies and one slightly neurotic cat. In addition to art, I love to read fantasy books (when I have the time...so I haven't read for a while), listen to music and eat sushi.
You can view more of my artwork on my website:
Who I'd like to meet: Other fantasy artists and fantasy art lovers, Brian and Wendy Froud (recently met Wendy, she is lovely) Johnny Depp (ahhhhhh, Even though I am deeply in love with my husband,I can dream can't I?)
I value all the friendships I have made on myspace deeply, but for those wishing to add me in friendship, please note that I only add persons that appear to have similar interests; artists, writers and/or fairy enthusiasts, etc. I do not add anyone whose profile is set to private unless I know you already or you send me a message of introduction. If your profile does not appear to have anything in common with mine and you would like to friend me, please include a message introducing yourself along with your add request.
would you mind voting for me? please? I really would like to win this. I want to be in Mark Gerardi's next artwork...just comment "vote" for me...i would appreciate it soooo much!
The Faire has a lot of potential. They're working on sorting out some logistics at the moment, but a great group of people. I think this is an up and coming show.
All the merchants I saw are very high quality and quite diverse so it's certainly a good opportunity.
I'm in a holding pattern as they "examine" the finish product and then begin to "fine tune" it. Hell. Anyway, hey, do you want to sell the prints at INATS wholesale?
Giovanna- I'm glad we finally had a chance to get to know each other a little at Spoutwood! You're artwork is so beautiful, and so is your family! Hope you are enjoying some much needed rest and relaxation after a crazy weekend!
Thanks so much. I still like MySpace better than Facebook. I am on there too but I like here best. Hope you are well. As for me yes I am so excited to start my new life. I can not wait to get to get our and dance with the Faires and be healthy. I will keep things posted on my blog. I am just starting it as I do not know much about Bloging lol... Have a wonderful Spring my dear... Stay as pretty as you are... Cindy
