Giovanni Spina has been driven to entertain since his preschool days, where he could be seen singing and dancing in the living rooms of his friends and family. This progressed to school plays and musicals, before he found himself, naturally, in a performing arts high school. He excelled in these surroundings and decided to pursue his passion further by auditioning for the theatre program at Toronto's Ryerson University. Out of a field of thousands, Giovanni was accepted into the program, whose training helped prepare him for his role in Disney's upcoming feature musical "Camp Rock". He had previously shown interest in musical theatre with his involvement in the musical "The Hope", which traveled throughout Ontario. Giovanni's talents don't end with acting. As part of the R&B/Pop group SGS, he not only sung and wrote material, he was also the group's producer. His supporting role in the latest Disney franchise will certainly serve as a springboard to success, making Giovanni Spina's a name to look out for.
Giovanni was born in Delaware, but currently makes Toronto, Canada his home.
