Funky as... Girandon, is a fresh, talented producer, making a mark notonly on dance-floors in his native Ljubljana, but also across Europeand into the USA and further. He has been part of the clubunderground scene in his native Slovenia after he became involvedabout 7 years ago.
Right now, 27 year old Jure Girandon is fully focused on futureprojects, which began as a labour of love leading to the creation ofhis 4 years worth of fantastic production work. He just performed atSlovenia's No 1 club LoveBox on New Year's Eve 2008, and is soon todelight the dancefloors in USA with a tour, visiting three statecities representing Brok.n Records (Los Angeles). There is moreinformation on future perormances to come on other European hotspots,which will include the UK and Spain.
Girandon works extremely hard and has gained respect from many topproducers from outside his country, such as the USA, UK, Spain &Italy. His back-catalogue includes recent remix work for ChristianScott & Jack Fresh. His solo stuff already has a confirmed releasepackage this year - entitled "On the Run" - featuring a Nino Anthony remix.
His recent DJ sets, programmed with local compadre VergiD'Angello, also feature as the funky house backdrop to the Love TVchannels in Slovenia.
He has been promoting parties for a long time back East too. Not only will you find him at Slovenia's top nightspots with Vergi d'Angelloand Mark J and other infamous venues. His earlier success, however, landed with Danish leading progressivepurveyor, Loopfreaks.
