...... .. The Girl from Saskatoon released it's debut single "Aloha My Love" during the international rock festival "Øya Festivalen" in Oslo summer 2003. The first album was named "This is only the beginning" and first saw record stores during april 2006. .. They are now recording again, and the second chapter in the story about the Girl from Saskatoon wil be released upon the audience during 2008... When I was asked to arranged a concert for Canadian Gilles Zolty in Oslo, I realised he was from Saskatoon and saw a matchmaking opportunity too good to be missed.
Our very own Girl From Saskatoon will open up the evening with an intimate duo line-up of founding members Jens C. Andreassen & Nathalie Bekkelund.
The stage at MIR is set for a romance-drama of epic proportions!
Doors: 20:00. First act 21:00. Mir is not very big so come early to avoid disappointment!

Lasso (elastique) play an afternoon AND evening session with help from some of the Tribe of Okies and Gentle Soothing Zephyrs that have played with us in the past. No songs twice!

Lasso (elastique) play a gig with a view as part of a free (YES, FREE!) festival at Café Utsikten. It’s starting at 2 p.m. but I don’t know when we are playing yet.
