About me:
I'm Olga and I'm a junior at Rock Bridge. Sometimes I wear my hair straight and sometimes curly. I like to sit in a big chair sipping my tea and reading Vogue. I usually laugh a lot and love my friends to death.
  
I think the world is full of lovely things, so sometimes I get my camera out and try to capture them. I have seen a shooting star and played on the swings at night. I guess you can call me a dreamer, but we all need something to hold on to.
I love the little town life but I'm a city girl at heart. A lot of my friends don't have their life planned out yet but I already do, although the plan keeps changing every day. But you can bet that soon I will be living in New York, in a cute little apartment with an exposed brick wall, old posters, and a record player. I hope to become a journalist and work for a magazine, preferrably a music one like Spin or Blender. I also want to travel and see the world as much as possible. I get a big grin on my face just thinking about all the places I can go.
I love grey rainy days because I can stay in, drink hot chocolate and listen to acoustics. I really love coffeeshops because they are cozy and smell delicious. You can say I'm bookish and I absolutely love old movies. I like to get lost in songs, even if it just means reading the lyrics. Maybe that's why I'm always searching for words that say what I can't. I think honesty is beautiful.
On any regular weeknight you can find me in my room, putting off homework. I absolutely love having long conversations on the phone with my head under the covers and getting instant messages from strangers. People say I'm a good listener and I will keep your secrets for pretty much forever. I don't get embarassed easily, which is good because I trip a lot. I am also extremely un-jealous - I don't hate people just because they are more popular or prettier than me. In fact, I could care less about looks or social status. I give out compliments like Mardi Gras beads, except you don't have to do anything for them. My numero uno pet peeve is people who think they are better than others. If you think you'll intimidate me by having nice hair or an expensive outfit, think again. I only care about personality, humor, and intelligence. Anything else is petty conceit.

My friends get me through each and every day. I love people who have an original style. Loud, opinionated people. People who are not obsessed with material things, who have something interesting to say, who are open to new experiences and want to take the most out of life, so we can go vintage shopping and then have lunch at a swanky sushi bar. I get along better with boys. I love how they get confused by all our girlie things, and have messy hair, how they dont care how many calories are in their cheeseburger or what kind of jeans I'm wearing. Boys who have a guitar permanently strapped to their shoulder, and who think that having a good time means going to the sink hole behind the local Wal Mart :o) Boys who will watch chick flicks with you and wipe off your runny mascara...and secretly enjoy it. I love being myself around them; there is nothing better than someone loving you for who you are. Well, nothing except for chocolate.
