I am a Southeast Florida publication that comes out every six weeks but I've recently gone global with the launch of my newly redesigned web site, www.thegirlmagazine.com! Now you can read every page of me online free of charge. My focus is the diversity of the lesbian and gay community but I also extend my expertise into the political, financial, and health of my readership. I am not all about sexual orientation as I have so much more interesting things to talk about then who I sleep with. Still my sexual orientation is a large part of who I am, so you will ALWAYS find my gay lifestyle in each and every issue. I also have a sister that only comes out once a year, her name is gir(L) Directory. We work well together and you can also read each and every page of her online as well.

I also LOVE to bring the community together and organize events to help all you lovely ladies meet up! My weekly event is a Friday night dance party at Mojitos in Lake Worth, FL! No cover, just a lot of fun! Come and check it out!

I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
