Girl Meets Boy is an acoustic duo playing contemporary music from 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today.
The duo comprises of Angela Easson and Wade McPherson. Angela and Wade played in a cover band together during 2005-2006 and in 2007, they decided to form an acoustic band.
Angela has been singing for the past 14 years. She began singing country music until the age of 16, when she decided to branch out into different genres. She has performed in 80’s cover band "Now & Then" as well as singing many styles including big band and jazz.
Wade has been a keen music lover ever since he was little. Although not learning guitar until he was 17, he quickly made up for lost time without any formal training or ability to read music. He has been in various cover bands like Funska, Nano2nd and other church band lineups. Wade’s main influences and abilities have stemmed from learning the classics by Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Mark Knoffler etc. In the last year he has slowed down to study acoustic music by Tommy Emmanuel and Jose Feliciano.
