The Girlo crew hit Bali, Lombok and the Gili Islands. Lots of fun, waves, scuba, horse and carriage rides, photographing sunsets, shopping in the markets, making jewellery, visiting the endgangered sea turtles, chatting to the locals. Girlo loves Indo…!

January 2009

The Australian Magazine's Shelley Gare interviews Anthea Paul for an article about female bullying. Called 'The Sister Act' Anthea Paul is quoted on the last taboo of female-dom.

February 2009

Girlosophy mourns the Victoria Bushfires and fires up expat friends to dig deep. Fundraisers are held from LA to London. Massive Girlo shoutout to the CFA, Wildlife Victoria, Vets Beyond Borders and all those who are helping the victims of this disaster. We are thinking of you all.

Anthea Paul talks to Barrenjoey High years 9 and 10. On home turf – or should that be 'Home N Away turf…?!' Barrenjoey High School is the heart of the northern beaches of Sydney and it is brimming with talent and girlosophers. We chatted for a few hours about everything from the role of today's media, body image, life after school, finding role models, fashion, movies, art and the things that matter most in life: love and friendship. Thanks to Danielle Atkinson and all the crew for a great day!

Girlo wins a hand-signed first edition Casey Donovan CD 'Eye2Eye'. We love Casey, she's such a vibrant wonderful person! Her new album contains some cool tracks that she's been working on with her band. We even got the chance to ask Casey about what life is like after Australian Idol and what she thinks of fame. Many thanks to Jodi Treweek and her crew at Koori Radio 93.7FM. Casey rocks!

Deanne Walker interviews Anthea Paul for Wellness Magazine. A true girlosopher and a talented journalist, Deanne is all the way from WA and it was a great chat. Love those West Oz girls!

A big shoutout to longtime girlosophers Crystal and Lizzie of Yallingup Surf School and Escape Surfaris for Women. Now there's no excuse not to learn to surf. Lizzie and Crystal are experienced surf guides and their school is based on one of the most idyllic patches of earth, on earth!
