About me: Provincetown’s #1 Spot For Women!
After six wildly successful seasons, Girl Power Events was back – a summer series of dance parties and fun-filled events in Provincetown featuring lots of women, music you can dance to, great give-ways and celebrity sightings. Hosted at The Pied – the longest running women owned and operated club in the universe – Girl Power has won the praise of visitors, townies, and the press. You can find us at The Pied Bar, 193A Commercial Street, every Friday and Saturday night all summer long starting at 9:30 pm, every day during Women’s Week, and for special events.
Girl Power would like to name and thank all our special supporters who helped make the 2007 season, and Women’s Week, possible. Thanks to Poppy Champlin, Mimi Gonzalez and Jennie McNulty who were there throughout the summer, and to special guests DJ Tease, Karen Williams, Lori Michaels, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Kate Clinton, Vickie Shaw, Marga Gomez, Suede, Zoe Lewis, Julie Goldman, Michele Balan and this year's Women’s Week special guest -- Sheryl Swoopes.
