The mission of Girls Fight Back is to empower women across the globe through personal safety & self-defense education. Through live seminars, books, DVDs and our interactive website, we preach that fighting like a girls is actually a very good thing!

GFB was launched in 2001 by Erin Weed after her friend and Alpha Phi sorority sister, Shannon McNamara, was murdered. After her death, Erin decided to learn how to protect herself, and in turn teach this information to others. Erin is certified in several self-defense systems, and believes you don't have to be a black belt to save your own life!
