We are (and we are not); Girls From Egypt - an unusual misnomer, but one that somehow represents this band of four, with a potent penchant for mesmerising danceable beats, meandering, pounding basslines, sharp, fractious vocals and frenzied, unpredictable, guitar work.
Megalomaniacal Spanish rants, bloodied guitar strings, jerky movements and stream of consciousness lyrics are guilty vices, but they're usually regulated by a melodically inclined superego.
Couple with a dislike of overly elaborate haircuts, military jackets and pointy shoes and you're almost

We've been compared to an eclectic mix of bands from the Velvet Underground - through the Postcard Era to Talking heads and Television, but you'll make up your own mind when listening....
