About me: Girls Rock Philly is an initiative to bring Philadelphia a girls-only, week-long summer day camp serving junior rockers ages 9-17. Our first & HIGHLY successful session was held August 6th - 10th at Girard College, with the final showcase on Saturday, August 11. Last year's (also) amazingly fun camp was from August 4-9, 2008. This year, camp is from August 3-8, 2009 & volunteers can still sign up for Girls Rock Philly 2009 at www.girlsrockphilly.org. This year, we're recording a compilation album!
Who I'd like to meet: Volunteers, girls of all kinds, women playing all types of music & everyone who supports them, & people who like to dance!
