About me:

www.girlswritenow.org

Girls rule. You know that. But there might have been one time in your life when you didn’t. It was a time when you were unsure of yourself and your place in the world, unsure of your talents, and struggling to grow into your unique voice. Much of this uncertainty probably started around the time you became a teenager, in between biology tests and acne breakouts. And by now you know that your experience isn't unique at all—that thousands, millions of teenage girls feel just like you. They still do, you know. That’s what Girls Write Now is all about.

Through one-on-one mentoring, workshops, readings, and events, Girls Write Now provides a safe and supportive environment where girls can expand their natural talents, develop independent voices and build confidence in making healthy choices in school, career, and life.

Girls Write Now combines mentoring and an exciting creative-writing program, all within the context of all-girl programming. Now in our tenth anniversary season, GWN was the first organization to ever present this combination of powerful services, and it continues to be the only program of its kind in the eastern United States.

Check us out at girlswritenow.org, where you can find details on who we are, what we do, and all the incredible events that we have planned!
Write on, girl!
