Chapter 1: Spyro and John met in a bar. Spyro was very drunk - naturally. John was playing at an open mic. Spyro said - "shnyou know whatz - youz neesd a band muzzerrr fackher." then passed out and was carried to the gutter. Thus things got started. They met Scott - a drummer from England who didn’t say much...when asked if he played with the band for the "sex,drugs and rock and roll" the shy limey answered - "well I don’t do drugs, and I’m married so I don’t have sex and I guess all I have is the Rock and Roll - oh my GOD please don’t kick me out the band!" -Scott was later kidnapped and kept prisoner at an ice cream store in Columbus. They met Gary - a guitarist. Gary met the President in D.C. and was never heard from again. See what happens when you mix rock and politics? Finally they recently met Steve - a nice guy - a good drummer and a fixer of broken refrigerator compressors. It was about time b-cuz Spyro and John were both about to be institutionalised after having done 1 too many open mics! Steve likes to shoot things and Steve has been quoted as sayin "Motherfuckers stole my canned air!" long story for another time.
Chapter 2: the Book of New Band Mates: Behold there was a time of great change in the ranks of Girl to Gorilla where upon the lord said go forth and multiply and Girl to Gorilla complied. They added Amalia - this really wicked good Greek chic on electric Viola and Simon (formerly of Psycho 77) AKA that handsome devil on skinny strings and ivories. And behold they are now G2G 3.0!
Girl 2 Gorilla has also been known as The Murkins, Actual Size and The Piranha Brothers Band. Look for them at an adult toy store near you - if you find them - run! If you run make sure your shoelaces are tied. If you are wearing slippers you won’t have to worry but you should question your choice in footwear while browsing at an adult toy store.
