In the 80's, Patchai Reyes, (Now in Gipsy Kings) and Julio Goitia Romero (Leader of the group) founded GITANO FAMILY, a group of "Rumba Catalane" gypsy music in which they were Canut Reyes and Pablo Reyes (Now in Gipsy Kings) like guitarists of the group. Julio Goitia Romero was a bullfigther in his past, but by a nasty encounter, he decided to let the bullfighting and dedicate his life to the music, his real passion, as far as Patchai, Canut and Pablo, left Gitano Family, to play in Gipsy Kings, with the Baliardo Brothers. Later Julio replace them with the young Reyes boys (Mario Reyes,Canut Amador Reyes, Titi Reyes and Tambo Reyes(Patchai and Paul's sons), Today, Gitano Family is renewed by Julio's sons, Lucas Pedro and Julio Miguel Goitia Romero and Little Patchai Reyes (Nephew of Nicholas Reyes) and the dancer Marjorie Goitia Romero, Wife and mother of Julio's sons.
