About me:

NO ON RAMP. NO SPEED LIMIT. NO REST STOPS. NO EXIT.

Gitgo Productions is Kate Kaminski and Betsy Carson along with a talented ensemble of Maine actors and production crew.

Our most recent collaborations:

"Willard Beach, The Real Story 2.8" is a comedy web series on WillardBeach.TV and on iTunes. Weekly episodes are uploaded on Wednesdays and are available virally on YouTube, Metacafé, Break, Veoh, and MySpace.

Featured in the ensemble cast are: Denise Poirier, Brent Askari, Harris Cooley, Braden Biddings, Keith D. Anctil, David Wallace, Stephanie Doyle, Scott Mullenberg, Michael Best, Casey Turner, Henry Bindbeutel, Kathryn Morrison, Amanda Painter, Franklin McMahon, Jennywren Sanders, and Lou Parnell.

"Johnson Hall" is a six and a half minute film featuring Buffy Miller, Keith D. Anctil, Scott Mullenberg, and Annmarie Dawson.

LOGLINE: In the aftermath of an unspecified nuclear event, strangers gather in a roadside museum to wait out the sirens.

The film was shot on HD in the town of Wells, Maine. Zookeeper Heyday (Drew Wyman & friends) provides the musical backdrop to an audio landscape that evokes the confusion and misinformation that would likely follow such an event.

"21st Century LP," is a 20-minute documentary about a man and his record store - a place where vinyl still rules and characters congregate to mine musical gold. Warm, funny, and insightful, the story of Enterprise Records is one best summarized by Bob Wirtz, its owner, who says, "I'm strictly making it up as I go along..." An official selection of the Bangor Film Festival 2008.

TRIP NEWS: The film was an official selection of the First Take Film Festival and screened on April 10, 2008 in the historic Imperial Theater in Augusta, Georgia.

TRIP is a 53-minute feature about a woman who picks up two hitchhikers in a laundromat and embarks upon a darkly comic and surreal journey.

Our other feature projects:

THE BARGHEST, 82 mins.

(I'M LIVING) A CHARMED LIFE, 65 mins. (IMdb listing: http://imdb.com/title/tt1016145/)

Who I'd like to meet:

Other outsiders who make art.
