My name is Mike, I am living an working as a guitarist in germany.
I was addicted to guitar since I can remember. So I was performing and recording with lots of bands and songwriters over the years, including nearly all kind of styles.
After touring a lot as a "hired musician" with several bands I did a longer "stop" in 2007 as I worked with the (in germany) well-known medieval rockband "Saltatio Mortis". I wrote -in cooperation with singer Alea- the music for the album "Aus der Asche" and proudly hit the german Media Control Album-Charts at no.29 as well as the german Alternative-Charts at no.7 for several weeks.
I was also playing the promotion tour with the band which was much fun. Here is one live-impression from the "Aus der Asche"-Tour:
After I had finished the "medieval" bandjob I was doing a lot of songwriting, e.g. for the great turkish newcomer Ufuk Gacipa who is a good friend of mine. We did a great record and played wonderful gigs. Here is one impression from the album called "Bu oyun benim":
Beside playing live I am doing a lot of studiowork - creating "sound" is a big passion of mine - as guitarist, songwriter, arranger, mostly at my own recording place, the Sound-n-Vibes-Studio near the city of Karlsruhe. I am doing songwriting and guitar-recordings for local artists and worldwide projects using the internet - they send me their tracks, I play on it and send them back. When not recording I am producing cool acts and help them to find their own sound.
My latest studio works were...
2007
2008
2009
Currently I am working on several projects as a songwriter and on my own new album which will be recorded soon - back to my guitar-roots! =:-) Stay tuned and subscribe to my blog for news about that!
