Biografia:Giuseppe Medaglia nasce a Cosenza il 20 ottobre del 1976.
le varie partecipazioni:
- selezioni finali "Festival di Napoli 2003";
- stage "Premio Mia Martini 2003";
- ospite a "Volta la Carta 2003" (manifestazione dedicata a Fabrizio De Andrè) tenutasi a Sasso Marconi, Bologna;
- finalista a "Cosenza Rock 2003";
- ospite ad una trasmissione del "Maurizio Costanzo Show" nel 2004;
- selezioni "Voci di Roma 2005";
- selezioni premio "Città di Recanati 2005";
- servizio su Rai 3 regionale nel 2005;
- vincitore della Tappa Regionale di "SanRemo Rock 2006";
- selezioni "Sanremo Giovani 2007";
- programma televisivo "Mi gioco la tv" 2008
- programma tv e radio "Millevoci 2008"
- concerti in Piazza e in numerosi locali d Italia.
Inoltre ha aperto i concerti, nel 2000, 2004 e nel 2005, della Session composta da Ricky Portera, Gianni Cicogna, Sergio Pescara;
e, nel 2005, al duo Michele Ascolese e Natalio Mangalavite.
Nello stesso anno decide di mettere a servizio di tutti la sua costante passione musicale aprendo lo studio di registrazione “Giumar” nel centro storico di Cosenza.
Nel 2006 ha cantato insieme ai ragazzi di Amici di Maria De Filippi.
Nel 2006 ha cantato insieme al chitarrista Ricky Portera in due date.
Da qui la decisione di intraprendere la strada come cantautore;
Lavorando con l'agenzia di spettacolo "Samarcanda" ha la possibilità di esibirsi in luoghi come le isole Maldive, in Trentino Alto Adige, a Pescara, Roma e Napoli dove conosce l’artista, nonché amico, Nilo.
Marzo 2007 Inizia la preparazione del primo cd con 8 brani inediti all’EgoSoundstudio di Napoli
Maggio 2007 Registra il suo primo videoclip relativo ad un brano contenuto nel cd stesso.
Dicembre 2007 Firma il suo primo contratto discografico su etichetta: Diamond music publishing:kilosa ed.mus./do it yourself music group

Joseph was born in Cosenza Medal on 20 October 1976. Since the age of 3 years, showed an unusual interest in the marks of TV spots, to the point that could and remind cantarle full memory. This unusual pastime for a child so thin led, later, in a great passion for music. At 6 years receives his first musical instrument, a planet, which accompanied most of his time.
Later one discovers a boy full of resources, friendly and always cheerful with the bar ready, having fun with friends to imitate various characters of the show.
At 14 years dad Mario send a passion for football, further cultivates passion that together with the music.
A few years later, exactly 17 years, his friend Gianluca gives them a classical guitar with the neck broken, repair, and spends years closed to playing at home. From here with some difficulty intones his first songs for friends and relatives, in bonfires, on the streets and in homes. Attracting more and more attentions of the bands.
Meanwhile follows diploma surveyor, with the consequent membership at the faculty of Mathematics passes where two years, is the year of the military in Rome (which always plays guitar and writes the songs first). Work with the father in the clothing store family.
Come back after 22 years military knows Fabio leaving the bonfires to begin the experience in the various local and squares with his first band, Alcadia.
The idea to apply to a wider audience the fun, and after various concerts in the 2000 meeting and the opening of the concert, guitarist Ricky Portera in nearby Reggio Calabria.
He also opened concerts, in 2000, 2004 and 2005, made up Session Ricky Portera, Gianni Cicogna, Sergio Pescara;
And, in 2005, the duo Michael Ascolese and Natalio Mangalavite.
In the same year decided to put at the service of all its constant musical passion by opening the recording studio "Giumar" in the old town of Cosenza.

Legato al MUSICASTRADA FESTIVAL il concorso fotografico raccoglie opere provenienti sia dal festival che da altre manifestazioni.
