D BEAT,we steal riffs and ideas from many bands,(mainly inspired from Spinal Tap..)thanks by the way!!!
The idea for this band started around april 2004,with only the 2 guitars and bass practicing in a basement,after many practices with the support of our biggest fan,gina the cat,we managed to rope in a singer and temporary drummer,our first show was on the 26th November 2004,but we were under the name "Condemned to Oppression",that was the first and last time we used that name,after various other names and shows we ended up with what we have now,yes its from the crow song.
After getting a new drummer and new singer, we have played quite alot of shows,mainly in london,but have ventured out in the big wide world to play the "Crusti Fukk festival in dublin,K TOWN and at the kopi in Berlin,also the "Means to an End"festival at the 1in12 in Bradford. We have released a 7'' with the title of "NOWHERE TO HIDE FROM YOURSELF on NEVER HEALED RECORDS, which is almost sold out, hopefully ther will be a second pressing.
In January/February 2007 we have toured Mexico with mates ANTIMASTER which was a great experience.
Also a GIVE UP ALL HOPE/ANTIMASTER split CD has been released and you can have it from:

After that we toured Europe for 3weeks with our australian friends of VAE VICTIS and it was so much fun that not only we decided to release a testimony of that in the form of a split 7" with them(available from MAD CHAOS DESEASE,TRUJACA FALA,SPIN CONTROL,SVOBODA REC AND MORE) but also decided that an australian tour together had to be done for more fun to comes!!!So in feb and march 2008 we packed the 2bands and gear in a small van and trailer and went on for a hot,sweaty, fun filled 3weeks tour of the australian coast...The harsh reality once again hitted us hard after that,resulting in robert's arm injury and decision of stopping destroying his health by hitting the drums like a maniac.Chris also decided to leave the band and concentrate on his other band B.O.T.E..
After the typical moment of despair that followed, Arno and Gian-luca decided it wasnt enough to stop G.U.A.H in its quest of musical destruction and so after a few months hiatus the band is now back with a bran new line up as Cathy (previously from Vae Victis,Scum System Kill and more), Flavio (guitar) and the mighty Mikkey (Drums) are now part of the gang!!!
We cant wait to start working on new material and will start writing songs for an up coming LP at the beginning of 2009..So keep your ears open motherfuckers,

The split 7" with DEATH FROM ABOVE (recorded during the same sessions as the split with V.V) is soon to be released for our upcoming Euro summer tour with them!!!

Hut Ab geht in die 3. Runde
Lieber Freund und Besucher unseres Kleinkunstwohnzimmers,
das war nun auch die 2. Runde der Veranstaltung “Hut Ab“. Das gemütliche Ambiente lud ein weiteres mal zum verweilen, zuhören und genießen ein. Annika Hein und Band überraschte das Publikum mit einer vielseitigen multiinstrumentalen Performance. Mit leisen Tönen verzückte uns Dana Shanti und ließ uns den lauten Alltag vergessen. Last but not least, Sid der Liedermacher zauberte mit gesungem Wort und Witz allen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. Nicht zu vergessen die Leckerein von unserem buchhaltenden Chefkoch Rudi. Es war wieder ein schöner runder Abend. Wie immer gilt ein ganz besonderer Dank an die Künstler und die vielen fleißigen Helfer.
Hoffentlich bis zum 06.11.09, wenn es wieder heißt „Hut Ab“ im ORWOhaus.
