GJ Warez started spinning in the beginning of 2000. From that moment there were a few schoolparty's and some guest performances at a club called Samsam in Vlaardingen. From the beginning that he bought records he went to this club in Vlaardingen called Maddox. There he met DJ Ruthless for the first time and after a while they went together to different bookings of him throughout the Netherlands.
Nowadays GJ Warez playes in the old Maddox building called Kathedraal. He also played at some big party’s like In Qontrol, Pussy Lounge, Decibel Outdoor, The Qontinent, Thrillogy, Tektonik in France and some places in Belgium like Complex and The Return. In Rotterdam he also played several times at the Hollywood musichall. His favourite style is Jump, Hardhouse and Oldschool.
As a producer he is also responsible for the hit Popcorn and Aircraft on Ruthless & Vorwerk's label Squarebeats. He also joined Ruthless in his studio to make Technobells, Movimento and What’s Wrong. All released on Squarebeats.
