About me: Born in Northern California (a little suburb of San Francisco called Moraga) I spent 4 Years in Upstate NY for School (Ithaca College), then after a brief stint in LA I moved to Portland (in 1993), where I've been ever since (and love it).
From 1999-2007 I ran DVDTalk.com online magazine that helps people figure out what to watch on DVD. I sold that in late 2007 and am now devoting my time to working with Indepenent Film and other things close to my heart.
I'm also involved with local theater where I act, write and direct.
Some creative influences: Spalding Gray, Martin Scorsese, Joan Miro, Bill Viola, Miranda July, Chuck Palahniuk, Scott Spencer
NOTE:
If you're looking to connect with me as a friend of DVD Talk please do so at my DVD Talk Myspace Profile.
Who I'd like to meet: Fellow Portlanders, people active in the arts and theater in Portland, Vegans and possible friends.
How funny.. I sent you a message then saw you like 30 minutes later at Herbivore! I see you everywhere... Powell's, Vita, Herbivore... but that's cause you're so cool visiting all the most awesome places around Portland :D
Hope you had a good trip to wonderful LA! (sarcasm.. hehe... actually I can't say.. I've never been to LA, only heard about it!) I am now scheduled to work at the store near you 3 days a week so perhaps I can bring your family a yummy raw creation someday soon :D
