I don't know if it's intentional, but in some of your songs, I'm starting to see a story develop.
I think it begins with The Devil, where the guy has this girl who is harmless and in all ways a "safe bet." But he can't help but have this insecurity about her, probably due to the fact he has no confidence in himself.
So then in Wish Me Luck, he decides to run away to fulfill his ambitions of becoming a musician, heading to L.A. with the promise that he'll either come back or send for her when he's 'made it.'
And then in HerStory, as his career starts to rise a little, he feels the need to complement his success with his ego. So he starts to indulge in the "rock life-style," while simultaneously knowing that he's going to be hurting Sarah and consequently himself.
I might just be reading too much into it. =P
But, either way. Ross, your various descriptions of women are very... imaginative. I actually did a report, my senior year in High School, on "The Devil," and insecurities in relationships. XD
No problem, thanx for accepting my request, you guys are seriously awesome, I have checked out both of your past projects and Abandoned pools i have heard about every song countless times, you both have a progressively evolving style sense of what music should be , and the elements you guys use is insane, the lyrics are a universe in itself, let me know if you ever need a drummer, though im sure u have a million lined up. i have been playing a good nine years and have a universal style i seek to start many projects in the future. keep up the good work guys!
