   About Glacier

Thanks for visiting the Glacier's MySpace.

Glacier play accessible progressive rock with the emphasis placed on strong melodies and memorable themes. And although the songs often contain lengthy and often complex instrumental sections, the melody is never far away.

Initially influenced by the first wave of progressive giants, the band have honed their own style and eventually released their first album Monument in 2001. The album contained a selection of songs and instrumentals from the band's past and current output.

Currently the mixing and mastering of the second album draws near to completion. Entitled Ashes For The Monarch the latest album is scheduled to be released in early summer 2008. The album will also feature the epic "One Man Alone", which forms the finale to band's live set. As a taster two pre-mastered tracks from the new CD have been uploaded to this site...

Once again thanks for dropping in...
