關於我：
It was September '07 and Glamorgan Improvisation Troupes became existent. Based in Cardiff at three Universities, these being UWIC, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and ATRium, we improvise student-ness.
G.I.T is a network of students with an interest in improvisation. All troupes' workshops are run by Nathan Keates of Ludus Ludius. The workshops will explore all the forms in improvisation that participants enjoy. The group is open to students of all levels of ability and aims to develop skills together, and to bring everyone’s experience into the group’s work.
The GIT performs a competitive form called Stealth. However with improv it needs to be 'fake' competition. Therefore the teams battle out the scenes and allow a team to win. Or will they? All troupes will play in a improv production together and in their separate Uni troupes. So many opportunities for the production to take place.
Another show we do is Theatresports. The workshops for this show will be lead by Patrick P Hanson. These will be going alongside the workshops for Stealth and will performed weekly (if possible) or monthly in the Universities. Competing against the other universities, so support your uni's group and come see the what they can do. Even get involved and perform in your G.I.T.
Look out if you're anywhere near Cardiff for us, and being a student troupe we'd be using the universities facilities. So go see the buildings that are ATRium (University of Glamorgan), UWIC and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. If you want to join in or just to see what we are doing.
