Welcome to my page. I have a passion for art, photography, and computer graphics and an itching to design web sites. One of the meanings of design, according to my old, beat up dictionary is, "to plan and carry out, esp. by artistic arrangement or in a skillful way."

In looking around us, everywhere we go, we see design in everything . . . . . the earthly creation, the architecture of buildings, interior decorating, gardens, topiaries, clothing, paintings, photography, books, etc.

Design encompasses much more than we can imagine and the sheer beauty all around us is amazingly beautiful. We just have to take the time to stop and take it in, and, just think about it, every single thing we see was designed by someone, somewhere.

Appreciation for the arts was not instilled in me as I was growing up. It came later, in little bits, when I had children. I wanted them to be exposed to the performing arts, so they were dragged to performances. I also supplied them with arts and crafts and paints and crayons. All of my children have various artistic abilities that I never had. My time eventually came in the form of photography and computer art. Well, I thought, if I can't paint, I'll shoot and click away until something artistic happens.

I spend way too much time surfing the net looking at other peoples' art work. I cannot seem to get enough sometimes. Google does an awesome job of dishing up some of the most appetizing sites to look at.

A fellow artist friend encouraged me to get a MySpace page in order to share with fellow artists. This should be a fun adventure.
