Peter Glasspool has set the bar high from day one, his ability to understand and communicate with a crowd is second to none, he prides himself on taking people on a musical journey through a number of genres and styles every time he steps up. His influences on a DJ front come from a number of top international jocks such as Craig Richrads, Ivan Smagghe, Damian Lazarus, Butane and Ricardo Villalobos to name a few.....
Peter has recently changed to digital DJin with Traktor Scratch Pro.
"I find the whole concept of digital DJin fascinating it brings new levels and challenges to the scene and it keeps the music i play fresh and alive whilst keeping its originality too. Loops and effects are key in my sets as it allows me to stretch and pull apart tracks the way i want them to sound, never too much tho as i always like to keep the original concept of a record as it was made"
Peter has played in and around London at a number of nights and clubs and continues to gain support from enthuseastic clubbers, taking this with him every time he gains experience and is always one step ahead to give that essential party that kick it needs. Playing alongside artists such as Andrew Weatherall, D Ramirez, Phil Weeks, Terry Francis, Justin Robertson and Tom Middleton.
This year Peter has also started production, working with Ableton he is pushing his sound of deep techy underground sounds influenced by a number of years spent clubbing at London's No:1 club Fabric.
"Fabric has been my main influence in underground music, iv spent the last eight to nine years going on Saturday night, the atmosphere in room one is always immense and never fails to excite me, the club is a perfect soundtrack to my life, its always pushing boundaries with artists and DJs and will continue to be at the forefront of underground dance music"
