I absolutely live for performing & music. I am at my happiest when I am on a stage singing, dancing and acting. For the past 6 years most of my free time has been spent learning lines, songs and dance routines for the many musicals I have been in. I absolutely love all apects of musical theatre including working behind the scenes. I have been a dresser for the Welsh National Opera and a props co-ordinator for a couple of productions.
My other hobbies include skiing, ice-skating, body surfing, walking, playing the guitar and reading. However, I rarely get much time these days to fit them all in between shows :-D
I have sung with several different bands/artists over the past 15 years including Dean Van Jones, Random Access, Dare, Beggars Farm, Spaced Bunnies, Box Of Frogs, KGP, Bluejooz/Transmission 71...and of course, Cyra Elia.

You Are Apple Green
You are almost super-humanly upbeat. You have a very positive energy that surrounds you.
And while you are happy go lucky, you're also charmingly assertive.
You get what you want, even if you have to persuade those against you to see things your way.
Reflective and thoughtful, you know yourself well - and you know what you want out of life.
You love anything beautiful, and you have extraordinary taste.
And while it's hard for you to trust, you care deeply for those close to you.
You are a social butterfly, and you have many friends.
You handle stress well - and you are a master at relaxing after a hard day.
Overall, you are modest, talented, unselfish, and very reliable.
I have so many favourite artists and bands that find it hard to list them all, but here are the top ten bands/artists that I think have most influenced my music:
1.ELO/Jeff Lynne
2.All About Eve
3.Queen
4.Alanis Morrissette
5.Erasure
6.The Carpenters
7.John Lennon/The Beatles
8.Pink Floyd
9.The Mission
10.Bluejooz
I also enjoy listening to Imogen Heap, Renaissance (see clips below), most Motown music, and old classics.
There are also loads of unsigned bands/singers/musicians out there who I love...most of whom are in myfriends list.

************************************************************
I have always loved being on stage whether it is in my capacity as an actress, singer or dancing (or all three :-D). I was born to perform and that is what I do...and I LOVE IT! I belong to several theatre groups and regularly perform in musicals at large professional venues. I am passionate about musical theatre and singing and I am currently in the process of trying to find an agent in order to try and pursue my dream of working in theatre or television professionally
I have had the great fortune to play some amazing roles over past few years:- *Anna - The King And I (Rhyl Pavilion Theatre May 2008)
*Flaemmchen - Grand Hotel (Waterford International Festival Sept 2007) *Millie Dillmount - Thoroughly Modern Millie (Rhyl Pavilion Theatre May 2007) *Kate/Lilli Vanessi - Kiss Me Kate (Rhyl Pavilion Nov 2006) *Young Viv Nicholson - Spend Spend Spend (Waterford Festival Sept 2006 - Won BEST NEWCOMER award *Dancer - Oklahoma (Rhyl Pavilion May 2006) *Kate McGowan - Titanic The Musical (Rhyl Pavilion Nov 2005) *Connie Boylen - Annie (Rhyl Pavilion May 2005) *Sally Smith - Me & My Girl (North Wales Theatre May 2004) *Dancer/Chorus - Kiss Me Kate (North Wales Theatre May 2003) *Dolly Levi - Hello Dolly (North Wales Theatre May 2002) *Nadia Naive - Dracula Spectacular (1992)
The first leading lady that I ever played was "Dorothy" in "The Wizard of Oz" when I was 10 years old!
I think my favourite parts to date have been Anna (The King & I), Millie (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Kate McGowan (Titanic The Musical) and Young Viv Nicholson (Spend Spend Spend). I enjoy playing gritty, emotional roles and I have found that playing a "real" person (ie someone who actually existed) is particularly rewarding.
I am a typical Leo. Positive, extroverted, bold, loyal, creative, happy and single minded. I believe that if a job is worth doing it should be done with 100% effort. I don't like arrogance, dishonesty, laziness and violence. I get upset by war, animal cruelty, child cruelty, global warming & corruption. I do try to see the best in everyone and treat people how I would like to be treated back. I believe in Karma :-)
Here is the long awaited full version of Dreamcatcher! This was guitarist Ian's first gig with Cyra Elia on 20.08.1999
