Sierra (pictured below) has a disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Her family is trying to raise money so they can send her to China for stem cell injections (not the controversial kind) which have been proven to stop the progress of the disease.

Born in 1964 in El Paso, Texas and raised throughout the United States and Europe as an Army brat, I ended my formal education after one year of college.

Being exposed to many different cultures and customs throughout my childhood and upbringing, I had a yearning for, and was greatly influenced by art of all mediums.

I never quite discovered my niche' until the day I met Master Flameworker Robert Mickelsen.

That chance meeting totally changed my life.

For over five years, I worked exclusively with Mr. Mickelsen as his Personal Assistant and Studio Manager.

Since then, he has become my good friend, teacher and mentor, introducing to me, what would become an utter and absolute obsession with glass.

With heartfelt encouragement, and much enthusiasm from my friends and colleagues, I have since created my own company, Moonlight Inspirations.

I now sell my own designs, along with collaborative works with other artists, marketing my work exclusively through galleries.
