Glass Pilot.
We are a band from Workington. We write and perform our own music and don't really sound like anyother band. We formed around February 2005 by Shane, Stu and Bell. After a little while, the great Joe stepped in on drums. A few months after, just before our first gig, Karl joined to replace the current part-time vocalist. We have played a few places such as Whitehaven, Brampton and Monroe's Bar in our hometown of Workington. You can hear two very rough songs that we recorded live at Southfield School on this here space and one demo of the track Reno. Bare in mind these recordings are pretty much recorded live and have no overdubs. If, by any chance, you want a copy of these songs on cd then you can email us at glasspilot@hotmail.co.uk

This month sees the return of the TGM Awards, celebrating the best in local music in Cumbria and SW Scotland, with a total of fourteen awards up for grabs, covering a range of awards from EP and Song to Bands's Genre and Band's Area, as well as the big gong itself, Best Band (Overall).
These awards are voted by you - and you have the power to decide who you want to win in each award.

Shane!!! stop sending me useless crap! I don't care about a forum, I already know you, and don't need a group debate about who we are, what we sound like, and what our best song is (because it's obviously "out of sight".
These boys did play at solfest my dear, but got booted off the stage for being rockstars, if i'm correct. I think the story is on the website, go check it out.
