Fri-Sun 5-7 June 2009 at CHURCH FARM, COOMBES, BN15 ORS
Last year’s Glastonwick, our second at Church Farm, our 13th overall, was by popular acclaim the best ever – so we’re back! Tickets same price as last year, one of the cheapest festivals around for these difficult times. Sod the bankers. Party while capitalism collapses!
Once more we can offer a free shuttle bus, overnight camping on the Friday and Saturday nights, ample car parking space and tractor rides/some entertainment for the kids, as well as the customary plethora of fine independently brewed beer and music.
About 65 cask-conditioned ales, all from small independent breweries, mostly unusual but with a few ‘old favourites’.
About 10 farmhouse ciders and perries. Quality food (new excellent veggie/vegan curry shack, hog roasts, burgers, chili, baguettes etc).

Friday evening (6pm to midnight): £7
Saturday (noon-midnight): £10
Sunday daytime (12 noon-6pm): £5

This is the best way of ensuring tickets if you live too far away to buy from one of the local outlets. If any remain they will be sold on the gate, but you are strongly advised to buy tickets in advance since last year’s event sold out on the Saturday.
For more information, including timetables for the free shuttle bus, please visit the Glastonwick website : www.cask-ale.co.uk/beerfestival.html
A full list of who's playing can be found on the left. Incidentally, there's no point in applying to play at Glastonwick. The booking is done by me, Attila. I travel round the country (and abroad) gigging, and when I meet a band/performer whom I really like, musically and on a human level, I invite them to play! Simple as that.
Cheers everyone!
Attila

It was shocking. There were people sat round drinking beer and having a good time talking to each other as if they had nothing better to do. That was the worst International Tee-Totalers Federation annual frown i've ever been to ... let me know when it's on again next year eh!!
