My first musical inspirations were Simon & Garfunkel and The Beatles. John Lennon is an amazing writer and musician. My first real interest in guitar came in the form of a Swiss girl named Suzi who was a family friend. She played a wonderful classical guitar piece for me and that was it! In my early teens I was struck by the music of Yes, ELP, Gentle Giant, King Crimson and Genesis. In short, progressive rock. As far as guitar influences, it's really a mixed bag from Jimi Hendrix and Billy Gibbons to Gary Green and Steve Hackett. I often find inspiration listening to something other than typical radio formats.

I have played in a few bands throughout my life, but my biggest perk in the past few years has been recording. Through the shared inspiration of a group of musicians that I met through the Gentle Giant internet mailing list, I have been able to expand my musical horizon. Thanks to technology I am able to find the time to record with friends all around the world. I have been fortunate enough to meet a lot of these people at yearly meetings in different cities. The last few projects I was involved in were a brainchild of my friend Andy Kubicki which are a series of CDs by these artists. Layout powered by HOTFreeLayoutsNewest / Music / Movies
