Band MembersAlthough I consider myself a solo act, it can't be done without everyone, or as I call them, my band. First is my wife Stacy from Starship Studios. Locally famous for owning the rehearsal studio where Queensryche was signed, she is the best art director in Seattle. More than just flyers and cover art, she was the set designer for Angry Housewives, a local hit musical that went to Broadway. Then there is Bob Morgan who plays drums on most songs. Bob moved here from LA in 1968 and we met and wrote songs. By the time we were 18 we had four hours of original music. We performed all our material at the DMZ coffee house straight through because we didn't know about taking breaks. The DMZ was located in the Fremont Hotel, which was featured in an article in The Rolling Stone Magazine as the only commune inside a metropolis. My bass player Greg "Buzz" Korkowski has been with us almost from the beginning. Being mostly self-taught he tuned his first bass like his balalaika (Russian guitar). You will find him on the song-writing credits for "Hot Day". But the bulk of his influence is noted during recording sessions and concerts when he lays down a calming tone as well as solid bass lines.
InfluencesI would love to connect with people who are fans of Jamie Cullum, Harry Connick Jr, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Doctor John.

   About Scot Lee
"Scot Free is a solid jazz group with a good following...We'll definitely invite them back!"..Suzanne Weghorst of Egan,s Ballard Jam House. Sit Back and enjoy the soft jazzy style of Scot Lee, inspired by the great singers of the 30’s and 40’s. You’ll enjoy an evening of jazz reminiscent of smokey piano bars and saloon singers. His repertoire includes some favorite songs made famous by Count Basie, Harry Connick Jr. and Tony Bennett. As a songwriter Scotty will trick your memory with original tunes that sound just like a Schubert tune with a Gershwin touch. His records have been played on KJET and & KSER. Audiences have been thrilled with performances on the cruise ships Queen Of The West Columbia Queen, and Cunnard Line line cruise ship Coronia.
