Glenn Tucker is an accomplished jazz pianist, reed player, composer, and arranger from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He attends the University of Michigan and studies with Geri Allen, Andrew Bishop, and Ellen Rowe, among others. When in high school, he studied with Tad Weed, Jack Wagner, and Vincent York. At the age of 19, he has already worked with many of area's finest jazz musicians, including Paul Keller, Vincent York, Claude Black, James Dapogny, George Davidson, Sean Dobbins, and Kelly Broadway. He has played professionally at venues such as the Firefly Club in Ann Arbor, Murphy's Place in Toledo, and Baker's Keyboard Lounge in Detroit. Tucker is also the co-founder, leader, and staff arranger of the Cool Moose Orchestra, which performs every 3rd Tuesday at the Firefly Club in Ann Arbor. His debut release Dusk Uptown (PKO Records, January 2007) features a tasteful mix of original compositions and standards. On the project, he is joined by trumpeter Paul Finkbeiner, saxophonist Keith Kaminski, bassists Paul Keller and Ben Rolston, and drummer Steve Fentriss. His big band, the Cool Moose Orchestra, also released a CD in June 2007.

We finally did it! We have put together a kick-ass MUSIC VIDEO for the song "Sold my Soul!" Don't want to talk to much about it but we will be showing it on a 12ft viewing screen on Thursday May 14 @ 9pm and performing (2) Sets.
This event will be filmed by DetroitMusic.TV and we are featured in the Real Detroit and Metro-Times this week (released on May 13).
