Glennwood is a unique blend of emo and rock, generated by four members with distinctly different musical influences ranging from Sunny Day Real Estate, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Phish and Rush to name a few. "Swim to the Surface" kicks in with some power pop "emo" rock in the vein of My Chemical Romance with "Regression" and "Nothing at All." Following that are four songs that are more mid-tempoed pop rockers. All the songs on this EP are catchy pop tunes done right with good riffs and tight vocals.
