About me: Glinkster brings the social Web to the gaming community. What is 'the social Web'? The social Web puts users in control of content. Excellent social news sites like DIGG and social bookmarking sites like Del.icio.us popularized this concept and were the driving force behind much of 'Web 2.0'. Glinkster makes no bones about it - we love these sites, and we were influenced by them. We encourage people to use them. We wanted to bring these concepts specifically into the gaming community.
When you see something you think other gamers will find interesting, you can 'Glink' that link. That means you're voting for that link - you think it's cool or relevant to the gaming community. As others Glink the same link, it moves up through the other links and appears on the front page. This puts users in control of what appears or (probably more importantly) what doesn't appear on Glinkster.
You can also manage your gaming bookmarks at Glinkster. Next to everything you see on Glinkster, you'll see a 'Save This' button. Click this, and save that link to your personal bookmarks.
