The moniker "G. Liu Jr." is a somewhat rhythmically punctuated abbreviation of the name Gary Liu Jr., who is a person who was born in California, in 1976. The songs began marinating in the greater Los Angeles area, further fermented in Philadelphia, and then were briefly bludgeoned into stasis, by the surprising day-to-day toil encountered in Honolulu. Now, however, they've undergone their groggy resurgence.
In Los Angeles, G. Liu. Jr. was inspired by sprawl; in Honolulu, by martian-looking flora; and, in Philadelphia, chiefly by onions. In the end, if you will allow him, he would very much like to sing songs during your next Atlantic passage, Arctic expedition, Death Valley breakfast, Nebraskan power outage, or even simply a bout of cramped listlessness in your dim, too-small apartment.
Not to boast particulary, but G. Liu Jr. holds an unflappable 2% certainty of where he will be in the immediate years ahead. He lives in Honolulu, Hawaii.
