About me:
.. Just an average guy, working an average job -- that tends to "show up" in alot of places across the Pacific. Ok - maybe nothing is average - its all to the extreme - but it did sound pretty good for an opener. Truly one of those Poet-Warrior types and one of the last great adventurers might be more the case. lol I enjoy the traveling I get to do in Asia and Oceania (and getting all the tips from friends on all the places to see and do)- getting to help alot of people in distance places in their times of need -and in general really miss living in Hawaii. I am the eternal optimist, and an airborne officer that fully enjoys every aspect of life - actual parachute landings are the exception (hitting like a sack of potatoes is about as exciting as it gets)- and I always seem to be having a fun time in life's journeys across the globe. I used to work and travel in Central America alot before we gave the Panama Canal back - and am working those parts again. Speak a few languages badly, though some say the same about my English because of all the Cajun words I use - and my typing skills as well. A true southern gentleman with a bit of a Louisiana accent from my time prior to Hawaii (ok - alot of accent). I am known to laugh or smile even when things really get bad - and am able to keep folks laughing with many tales of what have seen. I have lived in or visited alot of places: 5 years in Bavaria in Germany and traveled all across Europe, lived down in American Samoa in the South Pacific, and lived several years on Oahu in Hawaii high up above Pearl Harbor in a house up on one of the tall hills...... And I definately miss Hawaii and all the gang there since I moved to San Jose and now made the move out to the East Coast to winter and life in Virginia.

Who I'd like to meet:

Always looking for some friends around the local area as well as on Oahu and around/across the Pacific and the globe. Definitely interested in meeting fun people in and around the Bay area that like to go out and enjoy the different cultural events and night life. The people I want to meet are those that are fun - more so - knows how to have fun. If your into seeing new places, hanging out and trying different places to eat - checking out which beach is best (or not being rained on lol)- anything but being a couch potato! lol I seem to be spending alot of my time in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, and Taiwan - so always looking for friends that can tell me what I should have seen when I was there. Can always use travel tips because know I will be back to one of those places again soon enough. Always up to and enjoy meeting fellow travelers and wanderers of the globe.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I do not do the "add" for numbers game - so unless you know me - do not send an ADD ME before we have at least exchanged an Aloha.
