Unless broadcast television adapts to the desires of the viewer they will become grossly irrelevant to all but those who lack the means to accuire their entertainment via the internet or other broadband transmission means.
Heroes
My heroes have changed as I matured. Dad, GI JOE, Batman, drill sergeant, and squad leader. I never thought of athletes as heroes, but I know a lot of people do. Maybe they confuse who they want to emulate with, who they should look up to. My hero is my best friend and a fallen warrior, named MSG Joseph John Andres Jr. Joe gave his life doing what he loved, and he did it for his brothers. I do want to emulate him. I will always look up to him.
Who I'd like to meet: President George Walker Bush. He is a great man with a great responsibility. He is driven by his beliefs, and his sense of right and wrong. He knows who his is and who he is not. He is a leader.
I am ecstatic for you. Congratulations!!! Your wife is a very, very lucky lady. You both deserve the best... clearly she has exquisite taste. :-) And of course that is why you found each other.
My only regret is that I couldn't be there to congratulate you both in person.
I know secrets about Kev-bo.... He got busted in high-school and got In-School-Suspension (also known as "sack" or "box") for SKIPPING SCHOOL supposedly to go SURFING!! What a rebel. :)
