Welcome to the Global Water Foundation. The GWF helps provide clean water and sanitation to the world’s neediest communities.
The GWF was founded in 2005 by 2-time Australian singles winner and defending Wimbledon Senior Doubles champion, Johan Kriek. Joining Johan in this fight include John McEnroe, Monica Seles, Olympic swimmers Amanda Beard, Brendan Hansen, along with worldwide experts and dignitaries including former New York Mayor David Dinkins.
Water?
*An estimated 2.3 billion people worldwide don’t have access to clean water.
*Disease borne from dirty water kills one child every 15 seconds.
*It takes the average African woman 4 miles to walk for water, and when she gets there, she finds that it is unfit for drinking.
*It takes about $20.00 USD to provide a child with clean water for a year.
The GWF has been hard at work already: In October, 2006, the Global Water Foundation launched its first project in the Kamuli District of Uganda. The project ultimately will deliver clean drinking water to 5,000, immediately benefiting 1,000 schoolchildren.
RIGHT NOW: The GWF is working with Rotary International to repair a water pipeline outside Manta, Ecuador destroyed by an El Nino. Construction is ramping up. Please visit us to learn more and donate what you can!

Hey Friends! Thank each and everyone of you for showing your love and support!
The WUN is a movement to secure our personal freedoms, to create a more perfect system by which power and weath are distributed, and to ensure the best possible future for our planet and species. This may seem like a hopeless endeavor to many, but it can be done.
DO YOU REALIZE?
As an Individual Human On Planet Earth you are entitled to equal:
a) right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness -LIVE
c) voice and vote concerning the distribution of power on our only planet - UNITE
...as any other Individual Human On Planet Earth (ihope)
DO YOU REALIZE?
If enough people stand up and declare their rights as earthlings to be more important then the their willingness to watch the planet deteriorate, the movement can grow large enough that we can do what it takes to regain control of our planet and give our peoples the best possible outlook on the health, happiness and future of our planet!
First a Green Book for Kids. Now Becoming a Green Musical!
“The Kingdom Of Clean” Is Now Being Made Into A Musical For Kids! The song posted on our MySpace- “A Pain In The Drain”- is from the Musical. (You should like this song- it's about how storm drains bring litter, pollution and garbage into the water. Don’t worry about the vocals - Dave knows he can’t sing. Real singers will be doing the songs in the Musical.)
If you haven’t gotten a copy of the book you can get the details at our main website.(Just click on the banner below.)
And remember, kids who learn to be clean, not litter and recycle- might just grow up to become adults who don’t pollute and instead reduce, reuse and recycle!

a synopsis on the podcast:
Darfur and Immigration -
After a long, and unexpected delay, Indirect Democracy is back. On this Podcast, I will cover a personal story involving a friend’s final step towards citizenship. It is important to remember all the people who come here to work and struggle to attain the American dream and be part of our collective experience as a nation. Sharing that moment with her is something I will not soon forget.
I received an essay regarding Darfur that I am proud to share. It coincides with the Global Day for Darfur that passed on April 29. The writer, named Maria Halyna, runs a website dedicated to educating us all about the tragedy of Darfur – tragedy seems like such a small word when you consider this living horror. I encourage you to visit her site and learn more: http://blog.myspace.com/mariahalynal
The music from this Podcast is entitled, “Still Waiting,” by the Greyboy Allstars. You can find their music at: www.greyboyallstars.com
As well, there is the Global Warming Update, the President’s Love Horoscope, a word from a new sponsor AND, as always, the What a Weinie Award.
