'The recording of Enspiel itself is so smooth, it really does ease itself around your ears like the soundtrack to an epic motion picture. You can almost see the river running through a massive valley & shots of empty streets at night.
Beautifully minimal, building slowly but surely to every conclusion. Each piece is as strong as the next.
With such a solid body of work here, this album is one of the best of it's kind you're going to find this year.' -Nine Hertz.com-
'Enspiel (Krayon Recordings) is hypnotic & entrancing & manages to be so with a 'less is more' aesthetic. Intensely meditative & ambient textures build swirling melodies that orbit your head until you finally give in to the sonic splendor.
Rich emotional depths, adding so much contrast it's heartbreaking, highlight the more insular drones.
The whole album is very dream like & fascinating. Similar to being in the middle of a fog bank having totally lost your sense of direction'. -Mats Gustafson-
'Mesmerising guitar/loop/feedback playing/processing with jaw dropping drums. A duo that transcend the minimal forces with layers & layers of bloody sublime music' - Onedeafear.com
Glockenspiel
24:48 ep 'Glockenspiel have been lurking around the Post Rock/Analogue Elecronics underground for some time now, but have made significant steps towards the mainstream with this deleriously beautiful E.P. The sound is warm, full & lush, taking the listener on a wonderfully cerebral journey through a vast & unique soundscape' Rough Trade

'The third set of recordings from the enigmatic glockenspiel, and this is perhaps the most fully realized batch of music yet, marrying the sprawling, epic soundscapes of his earlier bedroom recordings with the greater sense of ambition that working with a regular drummer, steve d'enton, has imbued the peices. rustic, earthy chords provide the bedrock of much of this music, with the tape, electronics and guitar effects anchored by the deep emotional resonance of the layers created' Rough Trade
Originally a title for Adrian Dollemore's cd-r collections of lo-fi experiments, he eventually assembled material for live performance. Using tapes, electronics and guitars through chains of effects, his fundamentally earth-ground chords and astrally-projective processing paint a rural tonality with a bristling white afterglow.
After issuing a limited editon run of hand painted cd-rs via Krayon Recordings, Adrian began playing with Steve d'enton, formerly of Peel favorites Quickspace, on drum kit. Steve's direct but tactile style drives straight through the x-axis of Adrian's skyward guitar, with cymbals and hi-hats droning and splashing around his motorik anchor.
During this period, the duo recorded material with the group Dukes of Pouch, at the time a quintet also featuring Tony Bevan, John Edwards and Ashley Wales. Marrying repetitive rhythms with a freely improvised feel, their music seems to generate a locked groove of accumulating sound and gesture.
Having toured the U.K with labelmates Sunshine Republic in 2005 and Jack Nicholson in 2006, Glockenspiel self-released the 24:48 ep, a c.d of live jams, capturing the breadth and dynamic they display at their shows. They subsequently went on to produce a specially composed soundtrack for award winning London architects Plasma Studios, which was used to launch their mind bending floor of the innovative Hotel Puerto America in Madrid.
Currently their debut album 'Enspiel' is available on c.d through Krayon Recordings, Rough Trade and various independent outlets. A combination of the aesthetic of Adrian's earlier work and the sound they have honed as a duo, this collection of pieces displays a more electronic feel against expansive yet minimal compositions. Where glistening arpeggios rise and fall over gurgling analogue electronics, waves of processed cymbal and rich layered drones.
Recent live shows have included support for Stars of The Lid, gallery performances and a Live evening session for Resonance FM. They are currently in the studio working on forth coming releases.

Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
Adviruz and Section 27 present "Nightly Sounds", an intricately woven and rewarding musical tapestry. Available now for free download.

To celebrate our first 27 releases on Section 27 Netlabel, we proudly present to you "Sectioned", a compilation of 27 tracks, amounting to 2 hours across two discs of twisted electronic beats, discordant melodies, haunting passages, broken ambience, bending senses of time and space, microscopic glitches, pounding bass frequencies, sounds between sounds, the human voice and the audible sensation of music dissolving in acid. This is the sound of your mind's eye. This is the sound of the Sectioned... Strap yourself in and enjoy the experience.
Also features a 75 minute bonus disc "Sectioned : Nonimxs", including 9 remixes of selected Section 27 artists by Nonima and 2 original tracks created by Silent Snow and Nina Kardec using existing Nonima tracks.
Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
"The last Ekca CD blew my face off and we gave it album of the week... We sold out in a day!! Here is his proper follow up album called Sleep Paralysis on the Dead Pilot label. The album lulls you into a false sense of security with the opener being a warm floaty drone track sucking you into it's niceness before track two ('Ceiling Ghosts')comes in with some dark droney forboding pulsing fuzz which will have you caked in fecal fun. It's intense stuff alright. the production is amazing and it becomes completely clear on 'Heavy Weather' where some backwards guitar intertwines with some melodic electronics to stunning effect. Later in the track some thunderously loud drums come in and it's starting to remind me a of track from Boards of Canada's Geogaddi. That is until the walls of guitars which have slowly built up hit you in the face like a hammer shapped fist. The whole album has a dark feel to it.... like there's some evil presence hanging around. I think fans of Sunn O))), Utech etc will like this as there's a metal influence in there lurking 'n all. It's a damned special album! Comes in a diecut cardboard gatefold sleeve limited to 250 copies! CD only!!"

"blending low-level hip-hop beats with Scorn-esque bass and elonated guitar riffs to remarkable effect. . . it's that awesome. . . the music is superb, the artwork and packaging equally good. . . [it's] warped shuffling genius. 300% necro, foo'! (5/5)" (Zero Tolerance magazine).
