Casting call for brand new project!
Soul Struck Lightning is a cutting edge Hard Rock performance piece * and more! This is a 4 stage project including an original album, comic book, video, and ultimately a special effects filled stage show. Visit www. jlebang. com for further details.
Two major roles need to be cast prior to the initial recording:
Leading Lady: 1 female, 25-35, Rocker Chick type with long hair. Must be able to sing, play rhythm guitar and act in everything from romantic scenes to fight sequences (don*t be afraid to do your own stunts!)
Villain/Shadowcaster: 1 male, 25-35, possessing a sinister/devilish look. Must be able to sing and play an instrument, act and perform in high energy fight sequences.
Supporting roles:
Hell Dogs: 1 male, 2 female, the Shadowcaster*s minions. Must be fit, high energy, and open to some extreme makeup.
(able to sing and play instrument a plus)

Extras: While not all roles are being cast at this time, if you are interested in the project we are also in need of
Musicians: 3 guitarist's, 2 bassist's, 2 drummers
Demons: 10 male or female, fit, high energy, willing to perform stage combat
Fans: open age and gender
There are also still openings for many technical personnel although this will come closer to the stage performance phase of this exciting project. We are especially seeking people with special effect/pyrotechnic experience.

Thursday, April 26, Bottletree welcomes Mike Dillon's Go-Go Jungle for their first performance in Birmingham. This is our second jazz/funk performance of the year, so put on your dancing shoes like you did with Big Sam and bring your funky asses out here.

Mike Dillon is a vibraphonist who has worked as a percussionist for Les Claypool, Ani DiFranco, Polyphonic Spree, Galactic, and Garage a Trois, among esteemed others. He's fresh off tour with Galactic and is ready to show you a good time.

Opening for him will be the Chad Fisher Group, Birmingham favorites who have proven their ability to hold their own with any jazz/funk band around. We hope you'll come early to catch his set since oftentimes Birmingham fans find themselves having to wait until 12:00 or 1:00 a.m. at Marty's. Try 9:00 pm!

Catch your tickets now.

Thursday, April 26
Doors @ 8:00
Show @ 9:00

As always, we invite you to come early and have a bowl of our vegan chili--it's been voted Birmingham's favorite by The Birmingham News, and we think you'll love it!

Thanks for reading, and please repost if you get around to it.
