Drawing inspiration from musical genres including country, jazz, pop and rock, Glory Muse invites you to participate on a unique journey through the musical landscapes of the twentieth century and beyond. Lori and Ben have been singing together since 2006. Our varied musical backgrounds have led us to choose songs from many genres and styles. We interpreted each piece as our muse guides us, which includes adding vocal harmonies often composed specifically for our arrangement of the song. These vocals are supported by strummed and melodic acoustic guitar parts. Glory Muse is committed to composing new music and our first c.d. UNWINDING TIME was released in early 2009. Our songs explore many moods and states of being. We thank you for sharing this musical journey with us.
Ben has been playing guitar for 21 years and holds a Bachelors of Music in Guitar Performance from Eastman. He enjoys singing and playing various instruments including guitar, bass, drums, and piano. Ben teaches private lessons and group classes in the North Metro area.
Lori has been singing for 26 years and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in vocal and instrumental music. Lori has also been playing trumpet for 24 years. For the past six years she has been playing with The Lake Wobegon Brass Band, which is a professional group based in Anoka.

This Friday, we are debuting a project called Sonic Transformations. Every month or so we will present a new audio-visual performance based on a different theme/story. We will be collaborating with artists and other creative musicians along the way so let us know if you have something you'd want to bring into this project.
The first in the series is called "AN OBJECT TO CRAVE". Live music and visuals based on a short story about life, love, loss, fantasy, obsession and death.
Another group of mine, The Magnetrons, which plays an exciting and innovative Livetronica set (i.e. STS9, Disco Biscuits, The Histronic) will also be playing. It will be a musical adventure, and we hope that you can come participate :)
Here's the info:
