For the past 30 years, I have worked with children. I have found out what they want to learn. The songs I write are for them - "feel good songs for children." They inspire me.
My students’ faces light up when we sing these songs to each other. I hope the children in your lives love them too!
Over the years, I have written a collection of songs with the sole purpose of giving children simple messages they can use - to remind them that we all change, that each one of us has a "greatness" inside, and that every one of us has a role in bringing peace to our world. I tell the kids I know - in my physical education class and in life - "think with your heart." This simple message teaches us all to be kind to one another.
My newest CD is called "Celebrate Yourself." There’s a video of one of the songs on that CD - "You Are Beautiful" - below.
This video features my good friend and the fabulously talented musician, Lou Volpe, who produced this CD for me. Most of all, it includes children. The joy they show in hearing the message of my music encourages me to keep writing and recording.
