Glossop North End is the club from the smallest town ever to have a team in the highest league of English League football. That heady season - 1899/1900 - is long ago, but is a proud part of the club's history.
These days the club plays in the North West Counties League, living from hand to mouth and relying on the Glossop public to keep the club running.
Numbers have been dwindling - make a vow to come twice a season to help the club keep going. Without your help, we can never provide the facilities and football club that the town needs.
Now if you thought that Surrey Street was the last bastion for the old men of Glossop, you'd be WRONG. There is the Con Club too. But YOU can change that. We have probably the most entertaining manager in the league, the beer is CHEAP and the laughs are plenty. Sometimes the football isn't bad either.
